Description
Strategy DescriptionThis strategy is designed primarily for MNQ / NQ (Nasdaq futures) and uses a configurable main moving average as the core entry and trade-management signal. The default setting is the 200 EMA, but it can also be changed to SMA, WMA, VWMA, or VWAP.Entry LogicThe strategy waits for price to cross the main moving average.- Long: Price crosses above the MA. The strategy then enters 1 point above the MA by default.- Short: Price crosses below the MA. The strategy then enters 1 point below the MA by default.- The entry offset is fully adjustable.Direction FiltersThere are two optional direction filters:Daily Candle Filter — ON by default- Previous daily candle is green → Long trades only- Previous daily candle is red → Short trades onlySlope Filter — optional- Uses the slope of price over a configurable number of candles and timeframe.- Default: 15 candles on the 1-minute chart- Positive slope → Long trades only- Negative slope → Short trades only- When enabled, the slope filter takes priority over the daily filter.Stop LossThe initial stop is based on the candle that generated the MA cross:- Long: Stop loss at the low of the cross candle- Short: Stop loss at the high of the cross candleThis feature can be turned on or off.MA Cross-Back ProtectionThe strategy also uses the main MA as a secondary exit mechanism. After the trade moves a configurable number of points into profit, the MA Cross-Back Exit becomes active.Default activation: +1 pointOnce activated:- Long position → close remaining contracts if price crosses back below the MA- Short position → close remaining contracts if price crosses back above the MAThe activation distance can be changed to 5, 10, 20, 50 points, etc.6 Take-Profit TargetsEach trade opens with 6 contracts, with one contract assigned to each target.Contract Default TargetTP1 40 pointsTP2 80 pointsTP3 140 pointsTP4 200 pointsTP5 300 pointsTP6 500 pointsAll six targets are independently adjustable.Weekly Risk ControlThe strategy can automatically close all remaining positions before the end of the trading week.Default:Friday at 4:00 PM New York timeThis is optional and the closing time can be changed.Default SetupThe default configuration uses 200 EMA + previous-day direction filter + 1-point entry offset + cross-candle stop + MA cross-back protection + six progressive profit targets. The goal is to enter confirmed moves through the main MA, control the initial downside with a structure-based stop, and allow strong trends to continue toward progressively larger profit targets while using the MA cross-back rule to protect remaining contracts.
