Description

MUSTANG ALGO — Smart Money EntryA Smart Money Concepts (SMC) tool that automates a single, repeatable A+ setup: a bullish Break of Structure, a clean Order Block, an inducement sweep, and a Market Structure Shift confirmation — then a Quasimodo-style entry on the return into the Order Block, with a fixed 4R target. Available as both an indicator (signals) and a strategy (native backtesting).— WHAT IT DETECTS —BOS (Break of Structure): a close above the last confirmed swing high flips the bias bullish.IND (Inducement): the internal liquidity resting below the swing low that precedes the Order Block — the level smart money tends to grab before the real move.OB (Order Block): the last bearish candle before the impulsive leg that breaks structure, drawn as a zone.MSS (Market Structure Shift): a bullish break of an internal bearish swing high, used as entry confirmation once price returns into the OB.QM Entry (Quasimodo): the long is triggered on the mitigation of the Order Block, in line with the bullish trend and the MSS confirmation.— RISK MODEL —Stop loss is placed below the Order Block (with an optional buffer). Take profit is set at a fixed Risk:Reward ratio (default 4R). With a 4R target, the breakeven win rate is only about 20%, so the model is built around asymmetry rather than hit rate.— ON-CHART STATISTICS PANEL (strategy version) —A live table reports closed trades, wins/losses, win rate, Risk:Reward, profit factor, net P&L, average trade and max drawdown. The values are read directly from the strategy engine, so they match the TradingView Strategy Tester exactly. Position of the panel is configurable.— NATIVE BACKTESTING (strategy version) —The strategy version uses real entries and exits, so the Strategy Tester populates automatically (Overview, Performance Summary, List of Trades). Default settings: 10,000 starting capital, 100% of equity per trade, 0.04% commission, 2 ticks slippage — all adjustable in Properties.— TIME FILTER (Europe/Paris) —An optional session filter restricts entries to chosen hours and weekdays in Paris time. It uses the Europe/Paris timezone, so the CET/CEST winter–summer switch is handled automatically — no manual GMT offset needed. Out-of-session bars can be shaded for clarity.— KEY SETTINGS —Swing Lookback (pivot sensitivity), Risk:Reward target, SL buffer, OB mitigation requirement, time filter and weekdays, visual toggles for BOS / IND / OB / MSS and the trade zones, and alerts on BOS and QM Entry.— HOW TO USE —Add to chart, pick your market and timeframe, and optionally enable the Paris time filter to focus on your active hours. Use the indicator version for clean discretionary signals, or the strategy version to backtest and review performance. Higher Swing Lookback values filter noise on lower timeframes.— DISCLAIMER —This script is for research and educational purposes only. It is not financial advice. Backtested results are based on historical data and do not guarantee future performance. Test across multiple assets and timeframes before any live use, and manage your own risk.
