Description
Trend Vector Pro [Strategy]Trend Vector Pro is a comprehensive trend-following strategy designed to visualize market momentum, filter out noise, and provide actionable entry and exit signals with built-in risk management tools. At its core, this script calculates the velocity of price movement to determine the true market direction (The Vector). It moves beyond simple moving average crossovers by analyzing the strength and stability of the trend, helping traders stay in profitable moves longer while avoiding choppy sideways markets.Key FeaturesThe Dynamic Bar Coloring SystemThe bars are colored dynamically based on the momentum state and statistical extremes: 🟢 Bright Green (Strong Bull): Momentum is positive and increasing. The trend is accelerating upwards. 🌲 Dark Green (Weak Bull): Momentum is positive but decreasing. This often signals a pullback or a pause in an uptrend. 🔴 Bright Red (Strong Bear): Momentum is negative and falling. The trend is accelerating downwards. 🍷 Dark Red (Weak Bear): Momentum is negative but rising. This often signals a rally or pause in a downtrend. 🔵 Cyan (Neutral): Momentum is flat or near zero. Indicates a noise zone or lack of direction. 🟡 Yellow (Golden Bar): Represents a significant Swing High or Swing Low. These bars identify key market structure points used for Trailing Stops. ⚪ Light Gray (Extended): Indicates the price is statistically overextended (Overbought/Oversold). Proceed with caution as a reversion to the mean is likely.Signal Logic (Reversals vs. Aggressive)The strategy comes with two selectable logic modes:Reversals Only (Default): Filters out noise by only generating signals when the momentum crosses the zero line (Trend Flip). This prevents over-trading during corrections. All Strong Pulses: Generates signals every time momentum shifts back to "Strong," useful for adding to positions in a strong trend.ADX Filter: An optional filter to suppress signals when the market is not trending (ADX < Threshold)."Golden Bar" Trailing StopsRisk management is built-in. The script identifies key Swing Highs and Swing Lows (Fractals) during a trend:Yellow Arrows (Trail Long/Short): These appear when a swing point is confirmed. They act as the perfect location to move your Stop Loss to lock in profits.Pivot Points IntegrationPlots standard Pivot Points based on the previous day's data (configurable).Red Lines (R1, R2, R3): Resistance levels / Take Profit targets.Green Lines (S1, S2, S3): Support levels.Yellow Line (PP): The central Pivot Point. How to TradeEntry: Wait for a Long (Green Arrow) or Short (Red Arrow) label. Ensure the bar color confirms the direction.Stop Loss: Place your initial Stop Loss at the recent Swing Low (for Longs) or Swing High (for Shorts), or use the nearest Pivot line.Trade Management: When a Yellow "Trail" Arrow appears, move your Stop Loss to that price level. This technique allows you to ride the trend until the market structure breaks.Exit: Close the position when Price hits a major Pivot Resistance/Support, an opposite signal appears, or your trailing stop is hit.Settings ConfigurationTrend Configuration: Adjust the Fast and Slow lengths to tune the sensitivity of the momentum engine.Signal Logic Mode: Switch between "Reversals Only" (cleaner charts) or "All Strong Pulses" (more active).ADX Filter: Enable this if you want to avoid trading during sideways/ranging markets.Pivots: Toggle the Pivot lines on/off or change the timeframe (Default is Daily).Visuals: Customize colors and text sizes to fit your chart theme (Dark/Light mode compatible).DisclaimerThis script is for educational purposes only.
