ICT Silver Bullet | Liquidity Sweep + FVG Strategy by blitz_locked

Performance Metrics

Description

OverviewICT Silver Bullet trades the reversal that follows a liquidity grab inside the three Silver Bullet hours. It waits for price to sweep a swing high or low, then enters on the first fair value gap that forms in the opposite direction, with a defined stop and a fixed reward-to-risk target. How the strategy worksLiquidity levels: Confirmed swing highs and lows mark buy-side and sell-side liquidity. The most recent unswept level on each side is tracked.Sweep sets the bias: When price trades through a swing high, the bias is short. When price trades through a swing low, the bias is long. The bias expires if no entry happens within the sweep window.Session filter: Entries are only allowed during the Silver Bullet windows in New York time: 03:00–04:00, 10:00–11:00 and 14:00–15:00.Entry: Inside a session, the first fair value gap that forms in the bias direction triggers an entry at the close of that bar. A bullish gap after a low sweep gives a long, and a bearish gap after a high sweep gives a short.Stop: The stop goes beyond the sweep extreme or the first candle of the gap, whichever is further, plus a tick buffer.Target: The target is a fixed reward-to-risk multiple of the stop distance, 2R by default. One trade per sweep: The bias resets after each entry, and only one position is open at a time.FeaturesSession shading: London, New York AM and New York PM each have their own colour.Liquidity lines: the latest swing high and low are drawn as step lines.Sweep markers: a dotted line runs from the swept level to the sweep bar, tagged BSL or SSL. Hover a tag for the level.Premium and discount zones: a dealing range between the latest swing high and low, with an equilibrium line and stronger tints in the outer quarter of each side.FVG boxes: a gap is boxed only when it forms in the bias direction inside a session, which is the gap the strategy trades.Trade levels: entry, stop and target are plotted with green reward and red risk fills. LONG and SHORT labels show the prices on hover.Info panel: session, bias, sweep time remaining, range position, current position and reward-to-risk.Optional zone candle colouring, and every layer can be switched off.Fully customisable colours.SettingsSwing length: bars on each side needed to confirm a swing. Lower values create more levels and more sweeps.Sweep valid for (bars): how long a sweep stays tradable.Reward : risk: the target multiple.Stop buffer (ticks): extra distance beyond the stop reference.Display toggles and style colours.TipsUse a 1–5 minute chart on liquid futures or index symbols. The session logic works on intraday timeframes only, and a one-hour window has too few bars on higher ones.Check the chart’s timezone and data. Sessions are fixed to New York time, so the chart needs intraday history covering those hours.Start with the sweep markers. If you see no triangles or tags, lower the swing length. If you see sweeps but no trades, no gap is forming in a session after the sweep.Tune risk first. Try different reward-to-risk values and stop buffers on the symbol you trade, and compare results across different date ranges rather than one.Use the premium and discount zones as context. Longs from discount and shorts from premium are the cleaner reversals in ICT-style analysis. The script does not filter on this, so it is a discretionary read.Set quantity for your instrument. The default is 25% of equity per trade, which is not suitable for every market or account size.WarningsThis is not financial advice. It is an educational tool, and past performance does not predict future results.Backtests are idealised. Entries fill at the close of the signal bar. Add realistic commission and slippage in the strategy properties, because both matter on short-term intraday systems.Swing levels are confirmed late. A swing is only recognised after the swing length has passed, so the script reacts to levels with a delay. No trailing stop or session exit. Stops and targets are fixed, and a trade can run past the end of the session window. Results depend heavily on symbol, timeframe and date range. Small sample sizes can look better or worse than the real edge. Test on a wide period and forward-test before using real capital.Only the first signal in each window is traded. Gaps that form after the position is open are ignored.Release NotesEdited thumbnail
