Description

This strategy is built to backtest TJR's simple London session liquidity fakeout model using the Asia session high and low.The idea behind the model is that the Asia range often creates obvious liquidity levels. When London opens, price will often run one side of that range first, taking liquidity above the Asia high or below the Asia low, before potentially reversing in the opposite direction. How it works:The strategy marks out the Asia high and Asia low during the selected Asia session.Once the London session opens, the strategy waits for price to break either the Asia high or the Asia low.If price breaks above the Asia high, the strategy treats this as a potential upside liquidity sweep. It then waits for bearish break of structure confirmation before entering short. If price breaks below the Asia low, the strategy treats this as a potential downside liquidity sweep. It then waits for bullish break of structure confirmation before entering long. The stop loss is placed at the sweep extreme. For shorts, the stop goes above the high that swept Asia high. For longs, the stop goes below the low that swept Asia low.The take profit targets the opposite side of the Asia range. For short trades, the target is the Asia low.For long trades, the target is the Asia high.Visuals included:• Asia high and Asia low lines• Asia high and Asia low labels• Sweep labels• Break of structure entry labels• Active BOS level• Entry, stop loss and take profit lines• Risk and reward background zonesHow to use:Add the strategy to your chart, choose the market and timeframe you want to test, then use the Strategy Tester to review the results. The main settings allow you to adjust the Asia session, London session, structure pivot length, whether BOS requires a candle close, whether sweeps use wicks or closes, stop buffer, minimum RR filter and whether only one trade is allowed per London session. This is designed as a backtesting and research tool for studying the London fakeout model. It is not financial advice, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Always test properly before using any strategy live.
